The first round of the Lap Paradise Off-Road League was held at the Lap Paradise RC Raceway in Ulu Tiram, Malaysia. In the GP Nitro Buggy class it was Malaysian driver Danny K who took the overall TQ from Joe Hwee (HB Racing) and Adam Fikri (JQ Racing). However Adam Fikri brought home the win in the 1-hour final from Ben Panic (HB Racing) in second while Terrence Lim (SWORKz) came in third.

“Nervous, happy, heart pounding, adrenaline, fingers crossed..with a tough fight in the last 10 laps exchanging position a few times, finally, Adam Fikri manage to break the ice. P1 in A-Main finals at Lap Paradise League R1 with lots of top runners from 3 countries. Everything falls in place. 2 way communication on strategy finally paid off. JQ Black Edition car is excellent, REDS Engine and Maxima Fuel is simply superb. Car is smooth – 100% lube with Deuthlon Lube.”-Bro Aqeel

Thornhill Club Race

“Had a great time racing at Thornhill yesterday! Ended up 2nd in Expert Ebuggy. They had double A-mains for all electric classes at the race. A1 as I was about to hit the track I noticed I had a tire coming loose so ran back to my pits and grabbed the first tires I saw and swapped tires. They were the totally wrong compound and struggled to turn fast laps due to the tires and finished 4th in A1. A2 was much better I was back to running the right tires and won A2. So the overall result was 2nd place” – Jeff

The Badlands RC Supercross

Well done to Joe Canibano for his 3rd place this weekend at the Badlands!
“Perfect weather today for a little club racing. I went to the badlands today for the first race of their 2019 club points series. They started it off with some awards from last years series and I was able to take the 3rd spot in open nitro buggy. Won an awesome lettered cup and other prizes.
I ran open nitro buggy. The track was steadily getting faster all day long and so was the JQ black edition buggy paired with the sweep racing blue carbide tires. Qualifying went good. As the traction went up I just put on a thicker sway bar in rear and the buggy was hooked. I qualified 3rd.
Main time comes around and the temperatures dropped. I decided to stay with the carbides for the main. The buggy felt good all throughout the main. I had a nice battle going on with Rusty Estridge but he ended up pulling away at the end. I ended up finishing third. Thanks Corey McElveen for all the pit help. Big thanks to the people that help me get faster.”

Lucas Loring also had a Badlands win last year!

“After a year of grinding I found out that I won the 2018 Badlands open nitro buggy championship! Got this sweet trophy and a new novarossi engine! I’m so appreciative of the Badlands crew and all my competitors! Thanks JQ Racing USA, beachrc.com, and Assault RC.”

Michael would race expert and 40+ ebuggy he would qualify into both A mains taking both wins in 40+ and 8th over all in expert .Congratulations Michael great work on getting on the top step of the podium in 40+.

Michael Farmer also took 3rd in the Chehaw RC series last year!!! “Sorry about getting this one out late, had a lot going on in the off season. Chehaw RC race Park in Albany Ga. had a points series this past year, and they had races once a month from Feb through Oct. Alot of great racing went on and new friends were made. Was able to talk about the car a lot because I was the only one running a JQ over there. Alot of questions and as many answers were given as good as I could give on the car since I only had my GE only a month when the series started. As you can see I finished 3rd in points over all in pro E-Buggy. After the series was over people are taking note that JQ racing is here to make some noise!”
