Prior to this years Neo Race JQRacing announced two totally amazing opportunities for drivers, however in typical RC Gypsy style the ideas were hatched only a few days in advance of the event but despite this they were both a tremendous success believe us.
The rules of the Lover or Hater competition were simple. Predict the total of the accumulated overall finishing positions of the of the four highest JQ chassis at the event. Once Liam reviewed the entries it was a pleasant surprise and endorsement of both the Black Edition and THE Team in general to see that many of the entries predicted that the accumulated score of overall positions would be below 200. However the quality of drivers that attend The Neo Race meant a score below 200 would be tricky to achieve, as typically the first 40 – 50 positions are be locked out by elite pro’s and the very best amateur drivers from around the world.
So with all the explanations and excuses out of the way JQRacing would like to announce the drivers who have won or perhaps unfortunately won the opportunity to have JQ assist them in the pits for a race, and they are :
JQ Lover Winner – Dieter Grosch, predicting 170 total places
JQ Hater Winner – Chris Lovell, predicting 234 total places
Team Performance:
1st JQRacing Black Edition chassis JQ 29th (controversial RC Gypsy)
2nd JQRacing Black Edition chassis Max Mort 51st (soon to be unemployed)
3rd JQRacing Black Edition chassis David Gibson 105th (loaner driver)
4th JQRacing Black Edition chassis Scott Walker 106th (JQRacing UK Team)
Total 291 places
Finally a big thank you to everyone who entered, whether you are a JQRacing supporters or haters, we love you all.
