Dutch Buggycup Rd. 6 at RC Club Euregio, Hengelo

On a misty Sunday morning the drivers were headed to Hengelo. Due to the rain the astroturf was wet in the morning and the JQ drivers were searching for some traction. After qualifying the setup was pretty good and when the finals came around the track had dried a lot and the grip level was back up. With Anne Storm qualifying 5th in sportsman, Mike Greijmans 4th, Bas Ruijter 6th, Wytse Spoelstra 8th and Klaas Koster on 13th place in the hobby class.

In the sportsman class Anne started and finished 3rd in his semi and got to drive the main final. Unfortunately he got taken out in the first few corners and a marshal didn’t notice it. So back in 12th place he had to make up over half a track. In the end finishing a nice 5th place.

In hobby it was Mike starting from pole with his Black Edition and was in the top of the field for the whole race, drove really consistent and in the end finishing in a very nice 3rd place and winning the 40+ hobby class! Wytse started 8th and drove a very impressive race with some consistent driving and fast laps finishing in 2nd place! Bas Ruijter finished 7th and Klaas Koster 12th due to engine problems.

It was a very nice racing day and we are already preparing for the last race of the season in Purmerend!
